Island GP's have united in urging the Island to do all they can to help stop the spread of Coronavirus, saying 'every hour that passes is critical'.
Professionals from all the Islands surgeries are pleading with communities to follow government advice over public hygiene and social distancing.
In a joint statement, they say 'we can make a big difference if we all act together right now' and that while 'It might feel as if we are not yet at the stage of other countries' we must take immediate action.
Elsewhere, Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, said in Tynwald this morning the Manx public have just 24 hours to change their behaviour towards the virus or strictor measures could be brought in.
