Increased demand delaying some Coronavirus tests

Increased demand on laboratories in their UK means some Island tests for Coronavirus are facing longer delays.

Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, says due to facilities in Britain being ‘completely swamped’ with the volume of tests being received,  adding some Manx tests are waiting in excess of 80 hours.

However, Health Minister, David Ashford MHK, confirmed an on-Island COVID-19 testing facility is still on course to be up and running by mid-April.
