The new on-Island Coronavirus testing facility is now up and running.
Health and Social Care Minister, David Ashford MHK, has confirmed operations at the new complex began this morning, calling it 'great news' for the community.
It's hoped the centre will allow Manx healthcare staff to process around 200 tests per day and results to be returned in around 24 hours.
Before now, tests have been sent off to laboratories in the UK to be processed, with results taking around 72 hours to come back.
