Steam Packet Company Chief Executive, Mark Woodward, insists freight services to and from the Island are secure.
It comes as the organisation announced a new sailing timetable coming into force today which will cover for the Ben-my-Chree which is out of service for the next two weeks.
Mr Woodward adds sailings will remain under review in light of medical guidelines and any further changes will be announced in due course.
From today, the schedule changes will see the Manannan operating daytime sailings to and from Heysham whilst the MV Arrow will be carrying out overnight freight services to and from the Island.
