Teams of volunteers in Marown are now helping the elderly and more vulnerable in the community amid the Coronavirus outbreak.
Commissioners in the authority have confirmed people are now stationed at Marown Football Club, Marown Bowling Club and Crosby Cricket Club to be on hand for anyone in need of assistance.
Cars have also been supplied by James Mylchreest of Mylchreest Motors for those volunteers to get around - officials are asking any residents who receive help not to be offended if helpers don't come into their home as it will be for everyone's safety.
Those who feel they may be able in need of the services are invited to get in touch with Alison on 495 142.
