Police have dealt with nearly 100 reported incidents of people breaking social distancing laws over the Easter weekend.
That's according to Superintendent Bibby of the constabulary, as it was confirmed two people have been charged with COVID-related offences and will be held in custody until the next available court.
The superintendent adds the reports have included groups of people gathering for BBQ's, social events at houses and uneccessary travel around the Island.
The force says whilst the majority of residents have adhered to lockdown rules across the weekend, there's a 'continued core of individuals flouting the regulations and putting us all at risk'.
Officers say those who continue to break the rules will be dealt with 'robustly' - those found to be disobeying restrictions could face a hefty £10,000 fine or even a three-month prison sentence.
