New sailing timetable announced amid pandemic

A new timetable for sailings will begin tomorrow (April 15) and run for the next two weeks with the aim of protecting services to and from Manx shores.

The Steam Packet Company has announced the Manannan will carry out daytime sailings to and from Heysham, the MV Arrow will provide overnight freight services to and from the Island and the scheduled dry docking of the Ben-my-Chree has been postponed.

Meanwhile, any passengers booked on Manannan services to Liverpool until April 29 will receive a full refund or be offered a transfer to the nearest available Heysham crossing - all customers on the already cancelled Belfast voyages will also get a full refund.

Finally, officials are reminding that anyone intending to arrive on the Isle of Man must have authorisation from the Chief Secretary.
