The Isle of Man has no deal in place with EasyJet for commercial flights at this time.
Health and Social Care Minister, David Ashford MHK, made the comments after being questioned as to why booking options have appeared on the airline's website displaying future journeys to Manx shores.
It comes after EasyJet announced earlier this week that it would be running a small amount of domestic and international routes from June 15 where all passengers and crew on board would be required to wear masks.
Mr Ashford has reiterated the borders remain closed and that only those with exemption certificates will be allowed to come into the Isle of Man.
