Walking to the Tower of Refuge is not a permitted form of exercise.
That's the warning from the Department of Infrastructure which says some have been heading to the landmark at low tide during the Coronavirus lockdown.
DOI officials say going there doesn't count as an essential journey and to use the beach instead.
They add it puts those who head out at risk and could result in emergency services being called out to rescue them which takes up valuable resources at this critical time.
