Non-essential travel restrictions changed

From today, residents will be allowed to make non-essential journeys around the Island.

It's one of the announcements made by Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, earlier this week as the government enters into the next phase of its response to Coronavirus.

However, social distancing measures remain in force as does the all-Island 40mph speed limit.

Officials have warned again anyone found breaching social distancing laws could face a hefty fine or even a prison sentence.
