GP surgeries, dentists and opticians are once again operating an 'open door policy' from today.
It's part of the phased return of healthcare services across the Island following the ending of the latest Covid-19 lockdown.
From today, key services such as elective surgeries, outpatient clinics, mental health appointments, midwifery and therapies are beginning a staged process of returning to pre-lockdown levels.
Meanwhile, restrictions on visiting Manx Care residential homes are being partially relaxed this week with a view to fully relaxing restrictions next Monday (April 26).
For GP surgeries, officials say phone consultations will continue to be a feature in general practice alongside face to face appointments where appropriate and practice staff will continue to conduct a telephone triage when patients call for an appointment.
Social distancing and mask wearing will no longer be compulsory in health and care settings but the main doors at Noble's Hospital will continue to be manned until early next month and people will still be asked to sanitise their hands when they arrive and leave.
Manx Care Chief Executive, Theresa Cope, says: "Staff are working extremely hard to ensure services are ready to come back on stream and get back up to speed as soon as possible.
"Some services will be restored more quickly than others. We aim to resume near full activity in theatres from Monday, and clinicians who have held outpatient clinics by phone or video in recent weeks will be able to see their patients face to face again from the start of next week, in tandem with remote consultations.
"However some social care services will resume more gradually, including dementia support services, day services for older people and some children’s services, which we expect to return to normal service on 26 April.
"Adult learning disabilities support staff are busy preparing our day centre facilities and look forward to welcoming service users back to enjoy a full range of activities and opportunities from 4 May."
