Police are urging the public to take care on roads and pavements.
In a post the constabulary says as pavements are only so wide, social distancing guidance means people may step into the highway.
It's in order to avoid passing within 2 metres of fellow pedestrians.
Officers say to be patient and show respect and courtesy to all road users.
