The Eastern Household Recycling Centre is closed with immediate effect.
The decision was taken by the civic amenity site joint committee in line with guidance from Manx Government.
In order to contain the spread of Covid-19, officials have ordered to close public buildings and suspending non-essential services.
Domestic household refuse collections are, however, being maintained.
