Repatriated residents to self-isolate, than stay in Comis Hotel

Residents returning to the Isle of Man will soon be allowed to quarantine at home.

The Chief Minister  made the announcement at this afternoon's extraordinary sitting of Tynwald.

Prior to this, all those returning to Manx shores have had to stay at the Comis hotel for 14 days.

They've also had to pay up to £1,000 to cover their travel and accommodation.

However, Howard Quayle said those coming back will have to follow 'strict conditions' and self-isolate for 14 days at home.

Mr Quayle said further details will be given at the end of the week.
