The Manx Retirement Association has cancelled all events until further notice amid the global Coronavirus outbreak.
The organisation's committee took the decision in light of the 'escalating seriousness' of the COVID-19 pandemic and information from the Isle of Man and UK governments.
MRA Director, Howard Parkin, says taking into account the clear need for social distancing, particularly given the age range of most of its membership, they believe it's the most appropriate decision.
Finally, Mr Parkin adds he hopes the crisis will pass over quickly and that they will then be able to resume their numerous activities.
