The Royal Manx Agricultural show and Southern District Agricultural show this summer have been cancelled due to concerns over Coronavirus.
The societies for both events have released a joint statement to confirm the news, saying various alternatives were discussed but none were viable.
They add whilst it's disappointing news for everyone, the safety and wellbeing of members, visitors, exhibitors and volunteers is of 'paramount importance'.
