Self-isolating means not going outside, says Minister

If you have to self-isolate, you must not go outside - for any reason for 14 days.

That's the message from the Island's Health Minister in Tynwald this morning.

He reiterated the key message is if you need to self-isolate - you stay at home - walking your dog, or simply going for a walk is not acceptable, as it is not self-isolating.

He said despite rumours, he can confirm there are no cases of Covid-19 on the Isle of Man.

However, he did confirm unlike the UK - on Island testing in the community will continue.
