Tesco will be offering the vulnerable and elderly exclusive time in its store so they can get the essentials they need.
The supermarket says on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9am-10am it will be giving priority to those customers so they can get the essential items without large crowds of people.
As a result, the store is asking other residents outside those categories to respect the new measures being taken.
It comes after the retailer has already placed restrictions on certain items amid panic-buying from worried shoppers in the wake of new emergency measures on Island to protect the public from Coronavirus.
