Numerous events due to take place in the Island capital have been cancelled amid the global Coronavirus outbreak.
Douglas Borough Council has announced the Tower of Refuge Walk on Friday, May 8, and the D-Day Commemorations originally planned for Saturday, June 6, will not be going ahead.
It follows previous news that the popular Gandey's Circus due to arrive early next month has been called off as have the local elections previously scheduled for Thursday, April 23.
Scores of different occasions across the Island are being either postponed or cancelled altogether and venues are closing their facilities as more take precautions to protect people against COVID-19.
