Treasury will look to add an extra £40million to its contingency fund in the wake of the a global Coronavirus outbreak.
That's according to Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan MHK, who will bring that motion to Tynwald when the court convenes tomorrow.
His department is already looking to approve new rules to offer financial support for members of the public who are having to self-isolate as a precaution.
Earlier this month, £7million had been set aside to prepare the Island against the virus - there are still no confirmed cases of the illness on the Isle of Man.
