The Manx Lottery Trust will now prioritise any of its funding for causes which are at the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The organisation is making the commitment for the next six months in line with its partners at the National Lottery Community Fund.
Manx Lottery Trust Chairman, Sarah Kelly, says they hope through the pledge to support organisations under immense strain due to Coronavirus such as the foodbank, homeless charities and projects helping out the elderly.
She adds the application process for funding will remain unchanged, that they'll continue to honour current grant commitments and will be flexible with end dates for existing awards.
