Two men have been given prison sentences for COVID-19 related offences.
The constabulary confirmed the update after both offenders appear in court.
One of the males was found to be absent from residence and failing to follow medical instructions and was given a six-week jail term.
The second, who'd been found drinking and socialising on the beach after receiving a warning, was sentenced to four weeks in prison.
The current laws mean anyone found to be breaching social distancing rules on Island could face a significant £10,000 fine or up to three months in prison.
