The Island's Treasury Minister Alf Cannan confirmed a range of measures to help the Manx economy during the Coronavirus pandemic in this morning's press briefing.
He's committed £100 million from government reserves and a new welfare benefit of up to £200 a week for those who are either unable to work or who have lost their jobs - it will come into force from Monday, April 6.
A wage support package is also being made available to employers - of £280 a week for up to 3 months to pay every full time equivalent member of staff.
It will be backdated to cover March's payroll.
