A list has been published saying which children are classed as those of 'key workers'.
Headteacher at Ballakermeen High School, Adrienne Burnett, has issued a list of which youngsters can continue going into school whose parents are in professions classed as highly important in tackling the Coronavirus outbreak.
It includes pupils of those who are in healthcare positions, teaching staff, government roles, those in food production and also anyone employed in public safety and national security.
It comes after it was announced yesterday by Education Minister, Dr Alex Allinson MHK, schools will close their gates from the end of the school day on Monday except to those who meet the key worker criteria.
