James Cherry has announced he'll be standing in this year's General Election.
The former Onchan Commissioner will contest for a seat in Onchan.
He says he wants to drive long-term, beneficial and prosperity changes for the Island - and not shy away from tough decision making.
The other candidates to declare in Onchan are Rob Callister, Julie Edge and Michael Leather.
