Phil Corkill has announced he'll contest for a seat in Ayre and Michael.
The self-employed builder says he is standing because he believes government needs to change, as currently - it's letting the Island down.
Also standing in Ayre and Michael are Tim Baker, Alf Cannan, Tim Johnston, Duncan Livingstone and Liberal Vannin's Paul Weatherall.
