Manx political history has been made with a record number of 10 women elected across eight constituencies in the Isle of Man's General Election.
Two constituencies now have an all-female line up with Sarah Maltby and Claire Christian being elected in Douglas South and Joney Faragher and Clare Barber gaining support in Douglas East.
The remaining female MHKs are Kate Lord- Brennan, Daphne Cain, Jane Poole-Wilson, Anne Corlett, Dr. Michelle Haywood and Julie Edge,
A total of 13 new MHKS were elected last night with two coming from the Legislative Council.
