British Computer Society to host 'data camp' event

The latest developments in open data and digital engagement will be discussed at an 'open data camp' this weekend.

A panel of local and international speakers will meet at the Tynwald Library in Douglas tomorrow for the event which is being hosted by the British Computer Society.

It will look at how to help shape the future of the digital economy and government transparency with themed sessions on blockchain technology and governance.

The event starts at 9.30am and is free to attend.
