Mansat Group has announced a new senior figure has joined its executive team.
Rachel Beattie takes up the position as Chief Financial Officer at the company, joining from SMP Partners Group.
Her appointment has been welcomed by Mansat Group Chief Executive, Chris Stott, who says she will bring 'a wealth of knowledge and a most welcome focus to our growing work.'
Mansat is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary this year - headquarted on Island it also has divisions in the UK and US.
The firm also runs an initiative each year which gives Manx sixth form students the chance to win scholarships to attend the NASA United Space School in Houson, Texas.
Winning students work alongside peers from around the globe for two weeks, with the aim of planning a simulated crewed mission to Mars - backed by a support team of NASA astronauts, engineers and scientists.
