A tender process to run the Island's meat plant will be completed by October, according to the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.
A freedom of information request to the department asked for details about who'd applied to run the plant in Tromode.
DEFA says it had seven expressions of interest when it advertised in June, although it doesn't give details about the companies involved.
In its answer, DEFA says the tendering process should be completed by the end of September.
