The Fynoderee Distillery hopes to create a new outdoor seating area opposite its Ramsey bar.
Subject to planning permission, the 'Ginny Patch' will provide an outdoor space for both their customers, and Manx Electric Railway customers waiting for trams.
The distillery also plans to work closely with the Manx Wildlife Trust to lay suitable wildflower turf to attract butterflies and bees.
Should the plans be approved, the area is expected to be open by the end of May.
