A TT food market - set up because local businesses can't afford high costs of pitches - has been told it can't go ahead.
Yesterday, the planning committee considered an application by the Manx Food Market Traders Association to hold the event in the grounds of St Ninian's Church in Douglas.
The TT Foodie Village would have run from May 27 to June 8 and featured marquees and gazebos for local food suppliers as well as a licensed bar.
But despite planning officers recommending the application be given the green light, it was turned down by the committee.
