Manx-based e-Gaming giant PokerStars says it's the first licensed online casino and poker operator under new Czech Republic laws.
The Onchan firm's parent company Amaya was awarded a license at the weekend by the Czech State Supervision of Gambling and Lotteries Department.
PokerStars says it plans to launch its Czech site shortly - offering caisson games on desktop computers and mobiles.
The central European country introduced new e-Gaming regulations at the start of January - the approval means PokerStars now holds licenses in 17 countries.
