Sports bar opens in Douglas

A new sports bar has officially opened in Douglas.

The Basement is situated underneath the restaurant Just Pizza and Pasta in Wellington Street.

A multi-games simulator features over 200 golf courses, 60 driving race tracks and shooting galleries.

The bar area also includes pool and foosball tables as well as a number of booths, each with its own TV screen showcasing live sporting action.

Owners plan to introduce jazz evenings and Sunday brunches which they hope will attract more customers in the future.
