State pensions and all benefits types can now be paid directly into people’s bank accounts weekly.
That's the latest from government, in a statement issued earlier this week.
Until now, it's only been available for payments made on a monthly basis.
Anyone currently receiving their payments using the MiCard system who would like to transfer to having direct payments to their bank account is asked to visit gov.im/socialsecurity for further information.
