Onchan MHK Julie Edge will raise the issue of off-Island construction firms in the House of Keys next week.
During Tuesday's questions, she'll quiz Treasury Minister Alf Cannan about how such companies are regulated.
In particular, she wants to know about tax regulation carried out by government.
The sitting gets underway at 10am next Tuesday.
