Additional funding is helping Manx Wildlife Trust learn more about the Islands wildlife.
A Manx Lottery Trust grant is allowing them to team up with Taxa Genomics in Onchan to get more genetic information about creatures on the Isle of Man.
MWT says it will allow them to get more details on the likes of wallabies, polecats, hedgehogs and much more.
It added the statistics can then be compared to UK data to learn about historical origins and diets.
