Communication between employers and people who need work experience is being improved thanks to the internet.
Employed.im is a careers portal which aims to connect those interested in employment and training opportunities like students, job seekers and employers.
The website has placed more than 900 Year 10 students in work experience placements across a variety of sectors.
Lorna Trevethan is the work experience coordinator - she says the last 12 months have been successful and is hoping to encourage more businesses to sign up:
