Zurich Insurance Group has provided a sizeable donation to assist a local charity providing a safe haven for domestic abuse victims.
The company has donated £10,000 from its Z Zurich Foundation to Women's Refuge Isle of Man, an organisation which provides safety and support for both victims of abuse and their children.
The extra funds will be used to buy new furniture and decorated the charity's home inside and out.
Director and Treasury of Women's Refuge Isle of Man, Thelma Lomax MBE, says the organisation is 'extremely grateful' to Zurich for the support.
