11 month old Peel child rushed to Nobles Intensive Care Unit

Details are beginning to emerge in relation to an incident in Peel earlier this afternoon.

Police officers and ambulance crew attended an address in Peel following an accident involving an 11 month old child.

Under police escort the child was rushed to Nobles Hospital, where they're currently in the intensive care unit.

Police are not releasing any further information at this time and are not viewing the matter as anything other than accidental.

The family of the child request that their privacy is respected at this time.
