24 local young people have received the highest Duke of Edinburgh award at a ceremony last week.
The scheme involved completing a 12-18 month programme that included volunteering, learning new skills, physical activity and a four day expedition.
Each was presented with their Gold badges by the Lieutenant Governor at Government House.
More than 600 young people from the Island are currently participating in either their Bronze, Silver or Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.
