The Treasury invested £34 million pounds in films made on the Island, under the management of CinemaNX.
In response to a House of Keys question, Minister Eddie Teare has given a breakdown of the productions and the amount of money pumped into them.
They show £9.5 million was invested in ‘Me and Orson Welles,’ and nearly £3 million each in ‘Wild Target,’ ‘A Bunch of Amateurs’ and ‘TT3D.’
However, Mr Teare said he was unable to disclose how profitable the films had been for confidentiality reasons and because returns on movies are made over a number of years.
