Due to increased numbers of pupils opting for University competition for places is said to be higher than ever.

Today has seen the culmination of a years hard work for pupils on the Isle of Man with A-level results day.

It heralds the end of an anxious wait for the 18 year olds as they see if they’ve done enough to get to their chosen University.

We spoke to a variety of students at Ballakermeen High School who had just received the all-important news.
