There are more than 880 children currently waiting for specialist dental care, according to the Department of Health and Social Care.
In the House of Keys yesterday, Douglas North David Ashford quizzed minister Kate Beecroft about waiting times for children's orthodontic treatment.
Mrs Beecroft said there are currently 790 children awaiting assessment in primary care.
She revealed between November 2015 and October 2016 there were around 700 orthodontic referrals in total.
