Proposed changes to the Island's abortion laws will mean women who can't afford to travel to the UK could have the procedure on-Island in future.
So says Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson, whose new Abortion reform Bill is currently out to consultation.
The public has six weeks to comment on the plans before the bill goes before the House of Keys later this year.
Dr Allinson says at the moment, the Island's laws mean many women can't get abortions because they can't find the money to travel:
