Affray case adjourned for three weeks

A Castletown man who is charged with affray has had his case adjourned for three weeks.

25-year-old Liam Brown appeared at Douglas Courthouse earlier this week charged with two public order offences.

He's accused of affray and of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour on May 29th.

Police were called to an incident in Crossag Close in Ballasalla on that day following an alleged assault.

Brown will next appear in court on June 23rd - he has been bailed in the meantime.
