Agneash footpath has now reopened after 'substantial' wood work replacements.
That's according to the Department of Infrastructure, who closed the area after the bridge had become unsafe and was rotting in places.
Hedge cutters, arborists, joiners, labourers and maintenance workers were involved in moving the bridge away from the edge of the eroding bank.
The DOI says they were 'eager' to get the path open again as it's a popular walking route.
