Staff at Ronaldsway Airport posted to Facebook earlier this morning to say that its airfield was shut because of staff sickness.
They have now said that the airfield will reopen at 8am, or as near as possible to this time.
It apologises for any disruption caused, as numerous flights are delayed or have been cancelled.
