Areas of social services need to be rebuilt says committee

That's according to the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee which has taken its eighth report to Tynwald.

 

It focuses on the Children and Families Services and makes nine recommendations - committee chairman MLC David Cretney said they found a number of reoccurring problems: 

 

 

For the first time the committee spoke to individuals and families who had experience of the system - 21 meetings were held to gain an insight into the service.
