Astronaut brings Manx stamps back to earth

Astronaut Tim Peake has returned to earth bringing with him some special Isle of Man Stamps.

The British Astronaut Major returned from space on Saturday morning after spending six months on board the International Space Station.

Whilst up there he signed seven stamp covers which were specially produced by the Isle of Man Post Office and the Royal Aeronautical Society.

Stamps and Coins general manager Maxine Cannon says now the collection is back five of them will be loaned for display in aviation and science museums around the world:
